Spring patterns

With spring and blossoms coming out, patterns also get some colors.
You'll get a lot of choices of cushions, screeprints, wall decals, covers to give your interior colors with the French designers Petit Pan, Atelier LZC, Minilabo, la fiancée du Mekong...
In these great pictures from the french magazine Le Journal de la maison, dots, squares, flowers and colors mix and match so well!

Baby corner

In the French TV show Interieurs, a challenge was launched for 3 decorators: create a space for a baby in a tiny corner of the apartment. The 3 atmospheres are so full of tricks:
a crib suspended leaving a storage area under,
a small drawer hosting a corner changing table on top,
some stickers,
homemade canopies with curtains,
soft lighting like fairy lights ... to give baby the best nights in a little corner of his/her own!

Liberty for Spring

The English Brand Liberty exported its collections all over the world for Spring.
In Paris, The french shop Merci and Liberty have launched a joint collection for the occasion: lovely cushions, suitcases, bags, dinnerware ... enough to have fun!

At home in California. Target also welcomes a collection of Liberty from London. In limited quantities,  we had to hurry to shop nice dresses, picture frames, bags an ad scarves ...
Let's bright the late winter and prepare for spring with all these flowers!

New Tolix collection for kids

The Tolix chair has become an icon of industrial esthetics. This French brand with an unfailing popularity since 1934 , has launched a new collection for kids with a toy box, a blackboard, an armchair, a desk...
The collection for kids have the same advantages than the mythical chair for adults : crafted of sheet metal, they assure  fool-proof solidity, unequalled lightness, and easy maintenance.
This new children’s range has been drawn up by Normal Studio and the tandem Sebastien Cordoléani &Franck Fontana.
.
Let's hope that this new collection will have the same success  than the adults' ones already very famous in USA !

Small spaces full of ideas

The new Milk magazine is out ... in its pages I always find beautiful pictures of fashion and decoration for kids. Here 4 examples of children's rooms full of ideas to maximize small spaces.
The cute sleeping corner for Zoe found a place in the room of her big sister Lilou with a few simple tips: a curtain to separate them, a hand made bed resting on storage space, a folding changing table. Added some little decorative touches to this minimalist space : a bed cover from Petit Pan, the pink butterfly net and  small stars stickers.
Another idea to share a room: a fun wall that allows two small boys to play in a common area and separate them when they need tranquility!

Another way to maximize small spaces and for the older ones: the bed-cabin which let them enjoy a small playground on the ground.
I love this last room with Asian influence in its prints and its cushions. The simple furnishings are highlighted by the range of shades of plum.

Bonton a tout bon !

The new spacious store for kids Bonton just opened in Le Marais in Paris ... a few meters from its big brother Merci, another huge store dedicated to the decoration.

It includes the collection of children's clothing, but also Bonton Bazar (decoration and accessories), Bonton baby, Papillon, the very chic collection and a cofee shop!
This new parisian store is another predictable and deserved success for the Cohen family. Here Irene is in control, the step-daughter of Marie-France and Bernard, former owners of Bonpoint and founder of the concept store adjacent Merci.

The place was designed by architect Valerie Mazerat. She has preserved the old details of the building and has magnified them (moldings, fireplaces, chandelier), and mixed them with vintage furniture to give to the place a loft atmosphere ... the atmosphere and the scenography is magical!
800m ² for the pleasure of the eyes ... may be less for your credit card!

Spring atmospheres

In the early days of Spring, our wardrobes want soft colors, shortened sleeves, light trousers and dresses ... I was dazzled with the new kids collection from Zara ....

Flower prints, delicate embroideries, a palette of soft colors, a mix of "must have" this spring, such as as the striped sweater tunics and the western shirts, with more basic pieces...

Have a look at their new collection : you'll sure find great silhouettes for your kids.

Paris family style

Parisian families, artists and designers have opened their front door to the Japanese editor Paumes. "An introduction to the kids , a tour of the home and a glimpse of family's everyday - their loves, their laughs and their favourite pass-times" : this was the purpose of the visits of their interiors. You will have the pleasure to visit the interiors of some of our favorite French designers such as Petit Pan, April Showers...
A great decoration book to discover creative homes, each with a personality of its own, from colourful to flea-market chic, from romantic to cool, vintage to contemporary design... Bienvenue à la maison!

After clothing and home decor collections with his parisian store Home Autour du Monde, Serge Bensimon has opened in the fall a gallery.
The place is intended to promote design and decoration artists who "sublime creations and modernize the wood, ceramics, crystal of craftsmanship, unique pieces and small series that run around nature. A kind of arts and crafts of modern times ", he explains this month to French Elle Decoration magazine.
The collection rotates every three months so feel free to visit and come back!

His next project? Why not decorate a hotel or design a green house... we can not wait!
