Appoline in Paris

During my travels on French blogs, I just felt in love for the work of Appoline in Paris.
She has created a magic world of hand-made dolls, cute animals, adorable lanterns and accessories.



Apolline works with a little workshop in Madagascar whose purpose is the well-being of the women of the area.

Her collections full of poesy are sold in the trendy stores Bonton and Merci in Paris!

Bernard and Marie-France Cohen, the founders and ex-owners of the luxury French brand Bonpoint did not feel like retiring. So they opened a new concept store in Paris simply named Merci.
The purpose ? All the profits, after production costs are deducted, will go to a children's charity in Madagascar.

So you will make a great donation while you are making a great shopping for your kids with April Showers and even collections from Bonpoint with big discounts. Chic Summer

The new collection from La queue du Chat has arrived on Comptoir d'enfance.
Cute trunks in printed popeline made of 100% organic cotton, soft pyjamas with fun appliques... Comptoir d'enfance is proud to present the new Summer 2009 collection of beautiful, organic and fair-trade babywear of "The Cat's Tail".


The "Cat's Tail" looks for ways to promote fair-trade, means of production and manufacturing that ensure a fair-living and working conditions respectful for people's fundamental rights.
The french brand also supports local projects that benefit the community of Dahr, a village of India where the products are made.
Their clothes are from organic cotton which contains no chemicals or pesticides and doesn't pollute soil or air. And this soft texture won't trigger allergic reactions in your baby's sensitive skin.

Discover on Comptoir d'enfance the new collection of cushions, covers, baby shoes from the new trendy French brand for kids Polder.
April Showers is the collection for kids launched by the famous french brand Polder.
Polder has been created by two sisters in 2000, Madelon Lanteri-Laura and Natalie Vodegel.

From the very beginning, hand made components which bring a unique and artisan quality to the collection have been highly significant in Polder collection.
A recurring feature in each new collection is the dynamic mixture of materials such as soft cotton, leather, boiled wool, silk, velvets, vintage prints and hand made embroideries.

They have a French perfect chic and retro style. With retro and folkloric inspirations, a touch of boheme with a clean contemporary look, Airdeje has found its place in Comptoir d’enfance universe.

Airdeje offers a new approach to children’s decoration and nightwear design with a thought for travel, detail in the cuts, colour mixes and refined finitions.

Parisian treasures

To continue with the great editions de Paris publisher, two new books: one on Parisian houses ('Les maisons des Parisiens") and the second one on atelier LZC.
In the first one, you will travel in the pages shown above, in Parisian houses... of artists, designers, such as the great Fifi Mandirac, and more.


The second book will make you discover the great universe of Atelier lZC in their Parisian workshop.
The French design studio Atelier LZC has been created in 2001 by three stylists. Very famous in France for their collaboration to French luxury brands, they create object design, textile design, wall decals, illustrations. hanging ornaments, hand-made screenprints and stationery, available on Comptoir d'enfance.

Girls'interiors in Paris

A new book from the fabulous Les editions de Paris has been published. The theme is just perfect for me: "Deco girly in Paris".
You will find many decors from our great French designers : wall decals by Les invasions ephemeres, the colorful cushions from Petit Pan...
I love these retro-bohemian styles, the colors and little details typically from Paris interiors.

Bonton, the trendy concept store

The Bonton online shop has a new design... enjoy your visit !
This parisian store is from the brand of the well known Bonpoint with a modern style. You can find furniture, accessories and a line of great clothes.
For its new website, Bonton offers great pictures and atmopsheres from its parisian shop. A great retro-vintage style that we already enjoyed in the Parisian apartment of her owner Irene Cohen.

Petit Pan at home

I found today in one of my favorite decoration book, Children bedrooms in Paris, the bedroom of Petit Pan designers'kids.



Emile, Theo and Pablo enjoy colorful bedrooms. Thanks to their parents, designers of the well known French brand, they play and live in a retro bohemian atmosphere. Their father, Pan, imports from the workshop of his father in China, beautiful kites, cushions and baby blankets available on Comptoir d'enfance.
